The paint is plenty thick and has a nice powder coat finish to it, which helps in the protection of the paint. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I saw reviews elsewhere that said the same thing. I paid more for the color I wanted and didnt get it. To surface mount on wood, you will have to purchase (4) 1/4” lag screws that are 3” in length. Each Sierra Wood Privacy Screen Kit comes unassembled with 1 panel. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for the assembly of one panel and 60 minutes for the surface mount. This screen is made from our premium 100% FSC-certified wood.
