Love!!! We needed to upgrade from two small file cabinets and this is exactly what we wanted. Theres plenty of room for a zillion files and it’s not too heavy. We have it on felt pads so if we need to slide it we can. Putting it together is a 1-2 person job. The parts feel a little flimsy separately but once put together seem sturdy.. Anonymous. Take your time while putting this together. Between the 2 of us we got it done. Noticed several chips on corners. Not sure if damaged in transit or while boxing. Will have to touch up the areas. The only thing I'm not happy with is you cannot put files on both sides in large drawer. Does not fit. Will have to use one side for storage and not files.. Helene. Sun City Center, FL. The Winstone 2 drawer lateral filing cabinet is both attractive and practical. It was, however, challenging to assemble taking over six hours. Not all of the pieces were labeled, diagrams could have been clearer, and some of the hardware was difficult to distinguish. The price was fair, but not a bargain. Joe. Stafford, VA. Thu Sep 10 2026

I like the concept but it’s very cheap material. If you screw to hard it could break. The legs are made out of plastic. Hopefully it holds all the papers I will need to file. To me, it was easy to assembled.. Karen. Rochelle Park, NJ. Fri Oct 16 2026

A bit difficult to assemble for one person. I reversed two of the steps to make it easier. And the steel rods that support the files are a bit short and fall out, so I cut new ones.. Michael Edward. Bellingham, WA. Sat Apr 18 2026

This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The lock is weak but this is for my home so I don't need the lock. It perfectly matches my desk. Otherwise it's very good fit for my home office.. Judy. Boston. Sun May 10 2026
