I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters. I love this table. For our home to have a commercial-quality product like this at an affordable price made this a great buy for our family. There were no assembly instructions included but it was intuitive enough for us to figure it out and all the parts were there and undamaged. The table sits level, is sturdy enough for 8 people to sit (though it is a bit tight elbow to elbow for 2 adults to a seat), but it really does fit our needs and our space.
