Tips for assembling the chairs included. The dining set is perfect for what we need. I give the set 4.5 stars because all six of the chairs had minor dingsscratches. The bubble wrap used to pack them was torn allowing the metal parts to scrape and scratch. For easier chair assembly Attach the arm rests to the seat then to the back rest before tightening the bolts firmly. Set the piece upside down on a bar stool to attach the under seat pieces. There is a small tab on one side of the chair seat frame to ensure the cross bar is attached correctly. There is a small tab on the cross bar to ensure the rocking mechanism is attached correctly. This table is BEAUTIFUL. It’s sleek and has a fun design with the legs having an arched style. It was easy to put together, and I was able to move it by myself (it’s heavy but doable). Be careful when removing the wrapping… the scissors I used scratched one of the legs (two small thin scratches, I had that leg face inward when assembling it so it won’t be noticeable). That being said, I did appreciate the note in the instruction manual that advises assembly on a soft surface like a rug. After accidentally scratching the leg, I quickly opened up the cardboard box it came in and used that as a flat, protective surface. No more scratches ensued!
