It’s been a few days and so far everything is good, especially with having younger children. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but there’s 2 spots that look like cup stains but it’s spots that were missed during the woodmaterial treatment. It was simple to put together w one person but two would be better more so when it’s time to attach the legs and flip it over on the correct side. I don’t know how I did it by myself but I managed without damaging the table. Overall I’m in love and I can’t wait to host dinner with all my family being able to be seated at one table.. N. I love these chairs! They are ALMOST exactly as described. Sturdy, easy assembly, and despite other reviews, comfortable. (They are for my formal dining room, so seated sessions will be infrequent and relatively short.) Taupe is a nice neutral color. The legs are stained pretty dark, I would call it black. I almost didn’t buy them because of the schematic dimensions. I even called to confirm dimensions and the rep was obviously looking at the same thing. Schematic indicates 20” high 6” seat. Which would make the chair rise 26” under my 27” table apron. The true dimension from floor to top of seat is 19” - which is perfect for my table. This chair is solidly built. Weight capacity is 300 lbs. The cushy seat and sloping back are padded upholstery sewn with subtle channels. This set is a nice cozy little table which has saved space in our lounge area. It was relatively easy to set up in terms of the number of parts, but you definitely need two people. The table has sharp pointed edges. so if you have little ones you may want to get corner protectors. Otherwise, the table is relatively lightweight and moves easily, so I recommend getting something when we need to hold it still if you do not have carpeted floors.
