Washable dog pee pads and dog leash are the best combos to train your dog to pee at a fixed point. The dog leash can be useful for guiding your dog to the designated pee area. Your dog to the pad by guiding them to it and allowing them to sniff and explore. Whenever your dog shows signs of needing to pee, such as sniffing or circling, redirect them to the puppy pads and encourage them to go.

I ordered this to donate to the foster program at our local shelter. Foster families can always use enclosures to comfortably confine litters during puppy/kitten season. This one looks like it would be great for mothers & kittens during their first 6 weeks. Small breed dogs too. All the parts look good, and the enclosure should be fairly easy to construct with the provided hardware (I haven't put it together yet as it's a gift). Being able to store some supplies right on top is a big plus. Looks good to go, and I'll be happy to donate it. :) **Put it together after all, and I want to say again - young kittens and small breed puppies. It's plenty sturdy for them, but older kittens will climb right out, and larger puppies rough-housing will be able to push it around. This would be nice to set up in a communal area if you have other animals. Mothers can feel protected from them in the enclosed area, while curious babies have a protected area to roam. Plenty of room for beds, litter boxes, etc.. It's a little hard to pull apart between uses, but it all fits into a fairly small box for storage. ** I don't think I recieved a door latch?? Can't be sure in case one of my cats knocked it off the table when I was photographing parts and lost it somewhere playing with it, but I should have found it by now.... Carole. Grants Pass, OR. The divider was true to size and fit my dog crate perfectly. This would have been a five star review if the shipping container had not been damaged, which caused part of the divider to get bent. I was able to straighten out the bent parts with some pliers There was not any cushioning or other packing material in the box. Just the thin box and the divider.. David. Stephens City, VA.
