The design is clever. It is like animal waterers I used to use. You put an upside down bottle of water on the top and adjust the nozzle for the water flow you want. I use about 1 drip every 4 seconds. There are three issues. All the plastic bottles I tried were crushed by the atmosphere and just emptied immediately. You need a bottle with strong walls. So I used a quart glass bottle which takes about 8 hours to empty. Second, the adjustment needs to be made every time you fill the bottle. It only takes a few seconds, but sometimes when my hands are wet it is difficult to turn because my fingers slip. Bigger ridges on the knob would help. Lastly, the bottom of the nozzle needs to be above the ground so you can adjust the drip and the weight of the water can lower the stake so it's not. I put a small wooden block under the water holder to keep it up. All easily fixable problems. It keeps my tomatoes soil damp all day in the Texas heat.. Anonymous. Mon Sep 28 2026

A 2L flat collection tray sits under the worm farm to ensure the rich worm tea is collected as it drains.

Ups-A-Daisy sets inside your planter approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down into your container. Measure inside width of planter 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down to determine the Ups-A-Daisy size needed. Inserts include drainage holes to help protect against overwatering. The insert elevates your flowers and plants out of potential excess water that gathers at the base of planters. This is a great solution for preventing root rot. Ups-A-Daisy allows for essential oxygen to access plant roots. Ups-A-Daisy inserts are reusable and extremely strong. With an Ups-A-Daisy insert your potted plants & flowers are guaranteed to have healthier roots, produce bigger & more brilliant blooms, and grow faster than ever before! Most annual plants have a short root base requiring only 6"-8" of soil to thrive. If you give the roots too much room to roam, your plants may get long & leggy. But with less soil, the roots will be confined forcing nutrients back into your plants where they belong, producing healthier plants with bigger blooms while saving you time & money in the process!

It was too small but that was my issue. I have another pot I will use it in then can better review.. Verona. Polo, MO. Sun Mar 09 2025
