We just received this and it's already at 3". It feel very comfortable. We haven't put it on the sofa bed yet as we are waiting for it to finish expanding. Our guest is arriving in 5 days so we will see how she sleeps! But laying on it on the floor it is very comfortable. We are happy we went with this one.
