The shelving unit came well packaged and the instructions to put it together were very clear, it took me less than an hour to do it by myself. The shelving material is very nice which makes the unit very sturdy. I would take note that after assembly it needs to be placed behind the washer and dryer set so hoses and wires should be unpluggeddisconnected from the wall. I’m in a rental property and have a very tight laundry closet so I had to pull out the washerdryer to install this shelving unit. These shelves are as described in the product description section of the listing. The wood that they are made of (which is a type I was not familiar with) is very lightweight, but seems sturdy - the boards almost seem hollow core when you first handle them. I took off one star because, while the dimensions listed are accurate, I was misled by the picture of the shelves being used for books and they’re really not deep enough for that purpose, unless you like a lot of overhang..
