This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. This is exactly what we were looking for and it arrived promptly. The box itself was damaged at both ends and that made it unwieldy to move it safely (it is very heavy!) but that was clearly weight to great for the construction of the packaging. They probably get damage claims because the box is insufficient protection for the weight of the metal. Moving on to assembly, it was straightforward to assemble following the instructions provided, and the lighting is a super bonus for us, but the product loses a star because Two of the long bolts and one of the short support pieces was missing from the box and so we cannot install those important supports. Not sure if we will move forward with use of the product without them, but as far as assembly and aesthetics, it is really good. Although we received it as part of a promotion, for the price currently advertised, we believe it is a good value (providing all the pieces are included and you can ensure the stability and safety in use.).
