Update after a year the wood filler that was slapped over the knots at the factory has begun to seriously crack. I’ve put more wood filler in but unfortunately it’s not holding together. There are now large cracks developing all over, the crack in the arm has worsened to the point I think it’s going to affect the stability shortly. So I guess I spent 1200 for something that only held together for a year. Too bad, it was cute while it lasted. Original review This worked out great for our space. The wood quality is overall pretty good, there are a few knotty spots that were obviously filled in at the factory, and one of the arms has a crack in it, but it’s not a deal breaker. We ordered this in the 82" Palermo Drift leather and it's beautiful. The color is a bit lighter than it appears in the product photos. One of the reasons I suspect is due to the bloom that developed. I'm not sure if it occurred during shipping or sitting in a warehouse, but there is a dusty look that is indicative of leather blooming. This type of leather is susceptible to it and it does make it look a bit aged. I'm not sure how I feel about it and will likely try to buff it to see if it improves. It also easily shows scratches. Aside from that, it is incredibly comfortable and is the perfect height for our Colin live edge dining table. The product info indicates it seats 3, but our whole family of 4 fit with room for another person or two. It's super spacious and is perfect in our great room.
