The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. When the box arrived it was torn, after taking inventory everything was there. The pieces were all just laid in the box not wrapped. The instructions were not written well but, once everything was assembled it is a nice sturdy dresser with a changing pad. This dresser looks amazing for someone who is on a budget but want a more elevated look than just black or white furniture. Not real wood but it looks just like wood and the fluted paneling make it more modern. Drawers are deep for a good amount of storage. The back panels were a little bit hard to slide in and needed two person to assemble so that the pieces can tightly fit each other.
