The housing and frame are constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. The lamp housing compartment can be adjusted to fit ceiling thicknesses from in. to 1 in. The socket position can be adjusted to accommodate ceiling pitches from 2/12 to 7/12 pitch. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides. Wiring is made easy with the included wiring quick-connects that allow simple installation of 12-20 AWG wire without using separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in.
