This chair is sporting some very deep tufting on the dark leather. Take a look at the turned legs. They added castors on the front legs and jute to the outside back. Pure Aniline top-grade cow leather. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight/heat some color variation is common and acceptable on vintage leather.

The leather is holding up good, mechanics are still running smooth. we’ve been putting it through a bit of use by this point and happy with how it’s holding up. I would definitely consider getting an additional one. Shape is more comfortable for smaller stature as opposed to my taller husband who doesn’t find it exceptionally comfortable for his size. Also good to know if you have the foot rest open all the way (for example the dog is sleeping there) and you try to exit the chair without closing the foot rest, there is a high chance you’ll tip the chair over..
