This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. I really love this bed! It looks so cute and the girls love it. I like that it has so much storage, especially the drawers and shelves because it helps keep their room more organized. Boxes are well labeled minus telling you which box the instructions are in. Ours were in the side rail and slats box. Intuitive to put together- we did most of it without instructions simply because we hadn’t found them right away. Unfortunately, the desk draw face was cracked and bent so we will need to repair it. There were also several yellowed/tan spots where the paint either wasn’t mixed properly or stain within the wood came through. I feel confident a coat of white over these spots will cover it. We ordered this for a Christmas present and shipping was way faster than expected so we didn’t open the boxes right away to inspect it. I’d recommend opening it promptly and inspecting it so if there are issues, you can get them replaced. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and I think our child will love it.. Casey. Parker, CO. I was pleased to find out it is mostly wood and not partical board, I have been several hours assembling it and not done yet, will finish after work tomorrow. Pay extra close attention yo instructions they don't tell you what direction or what side of board to use, I found this out after taking it apart several times.
