One of the boxes did not have part to assemble door so I had to call the manufacturer. They resent the box the entire box that had those parts in it have not had time to open box had to go to the hospital with kidney stones. Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. I waited until the first severe windstorm to see how it held up before writing this review. It did great! I have it bolted directly into my porch, mind you. As others have stated, assembling this is a trip to the 7th circle of hell. It took me and two other people 5 days to put this together. The instructions are very poor, things not labelled properly, some steps are backwards, some of the pieces just don't fit together quite right, you'll get part way through and then realize you put something on upside down without realising it (because it's not labelled) and then have to backtrack several steps, and so on. The greenhouse is so sweet looking . It was delivered a day early. There is a lot of pieces but we laid everything out and it was all there. I am 60 and my husband is 65 and we put this up in 2 1/2 days because it was a rainy week. We had no extra help but I would recommend 3 people cause my husband is very good with building . After reviewing what others had to convey, I took a chance and purchased this. However, I showed my hubby before weighing in on his thoughts beforehand. He was able to put it together in a day, but he believes a few hours could have been saved with a few lessons learned. First, ensure the ground or platform is leveled in length and depth. Second, the written instructions needed to be more descriptive about placing bolts into the track of several pieces that would be used to affix future pieces. Third, the phone-based app had a few wrong part numbers in the instructions. We recommend a minimum of two people pre-reading the instructions and cross-checking them with the phone-based app. Overall the construction was not complicated. We’re really happy with this greenhouse overall. The size is perfect—not too overwhelming, but still big enough to actually do something with. It feels like a great starter option if you’re getting into gardening without wanting to go all-in on something massive or super expensive. Assembly was definitely the biggest challenge. My husband put it together on his own (which… respect), but he said having a second person would make a huge difference—and honestly, even a third if you want it done quickly. That said, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the parts were really well organized in the boxes, which helped a lot. Most of the hiccups were just from doing it solo. The only minor issue we’ve noticed is the door—it was pretty snug at first. We think one of the wood pieces may have been slightly bowed, but it’s already starting to loosen up and work better the more we use it. We love the look of it, and it feels like a solid setup for the price. It also didn’t feel overwhelming to prep the base (we did gravel), which was a big plus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this for a first greenhouse—especially if you’ve got the space and want to start a larger garden without overcomplicating things. Everything arrived in good condition with all the parts. The directions were not easy to understand and the small pictures did not show any details. We ended up taking sections apart several times to flip the part a different direction. Parts were well labeled with numbers that corresponded to the directions but some bags had two parts which added to the time searching. We spent about 6 hours the first day and got the frame assembled but stopped when we tried to attach the window vent. After thinking about it overnight, we figured out the vent and then progressed to the plexiglass installation which was pretty easy. We screwed the greenhouse down to a deck we built for it and we hope it will hold up to any wind. For the price, I think it will work perfectly for my sister’s small garden needs. The greenhouse arrived in several boxes and was in good order. The cedar is legit and solid. All of the hardware lined up and it looks great. It took a couple of hours to assemble with a helper, but it is worth it. The access and construction easily allow for you to route drip irrigation or you can just drag a hose inside for watering plants.
