Received about one month ago, when we were looking for exterior rugs for our two separate entry doors. We drag a lot of pine needles and sand into our house and we wanted a rug which would prevent this from happening. Also, we wanted it to be soft on the feet because were have a small lake house which means a lot of bare feet running in and out during the summer. This mat is fine, but it’s not exactly what I was looking for. It has the extra width which is a priority for me, but I don’t really care for the textured top. That’s on me though as it wasn’t something I could be sure of from the online photos. I also needed it to be thicker like other mats I’ve had, but it falls just a tad short there. On the plus side it has a good solid heft to it and it lays flat. Will probably want to anchor it to the floor with those double-sided sticky corner adhesives because I have to have it aligned with the tile at all times (it’s a Virgo thing) and any mat you buy is going to shift a little.
