We've had this runner on steps + hallway in our multi-level house for a couple of years now. We like it so much we're going to buy the same one for a hallway on a different level. It is mostly tan/brown but has a grey overlay in places as well. So it looks great with both beiges and greys. It has the elegance of a border rug but the middle is mottled, so it doesn't show the scuffs and spills as does a traditional border rug with a solid coloured middle. The rug arrived very quickly and as represented in the vibrant burgundy/red, gold and navy blue. It looks great in our living room and matches the floor and my burgundy chair. I love this rug. It’s beautiful. The colors are perfect for my family room. I have a matching round rug under my kitchen table. I do have a runner for the foyer that I have not put down yet.
