This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. This is perfect in terms of looks from a distance, though not the highest quality. I’ve had to touch up the color on a few places and it’s particle board, so not great. If you can afford a more expensive one, I would recommend spending more. But the higher quality ones didn’t deliver to my address, so I used the DIY method and assembled this with not too much difficulty. Best parts are the cupboards and drawers that open from both sides, and the real wood surface. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people.
