The Irish linen wrap is the reason to reach for this cue. Woven linen pulls the sweat off your hand and damps the buzz you feel on a hard break, so your grip stays relaxed frame after frame. Inside the butt sits a weight bolt you can change, which lets you dial in the balance as your stroke develops and your game gets more serious. That suits a player taking a first run at league night on a modest budget. A leather tip cuts miscues on the cue ball.

My son and his friends seem to like the cue stick. They didn't complain so that is a good thing.. Melanie. Lansford, PA. Sat Mar 14 2026

We were looking to replace lightweight cues that came with the table we bought. These are nice - definitely a heavier weight, which you can feel as soon as you compare to a cheaper pool cue.. Mdohtony. Cleveland, OH. Tue May 20 2025

Three lengths mean you can match the cue to the room rather than the other way round: a short one for a table jammed against a wall, a full length one for open floor. Cut from a single piece of hardwood, there is no joint to work loose or rattle, so it plays the same on night one and on night five hundred. That makes it a sensible pick for a basement bar or any rack where guests just grab whatever is closest. The black finish hides scuffs.

Pool sticks were great for their price. Perfect for my kids.. Meg. Hamden, CT. Mon Aug 31 2026

A short cue earns its place in rooms where a full length stick will not fit, whether that is a table pushed against a wall, a basement post in the way, or a bar table wedged into a corner. This one is turned from a single length of maple with no joint to work loose, which is why it survives being played night after night by whoever picks it up. The leather tip grips the cue ball and holds miscues down, and an even taper keeps the stroke feeling steady.

Very nice maple cue. Solid weight and beautiful addition to the rack.. Phillip. Columbus, OH. Sun Sep 13 2026

I have used it for a few games and didn’t do as well as my 219.00 one which has a rubber looking tip and a hole to screw in an extender, there are complaints with the extender in due to there not being enough space needed for one of the ping-pong tables. It’s a bit cramped need for more space at ping-pong tables 1. My 219.00 one has a fiberglass narrow end toward the tip. I would have a better result if I just fatten the tip a bit. I will do that and then I can come back and give it a 5 Star rating.. Philip. San Jose, CA. Mon May 18 2026

This bar cue comes in four playing weights, so the regulars in your basement or league room can each settle on the heft that suits their stroke rather than fighting over the one stick on the wall. It is meant to be grabbed off the rack, played hard for a few hours and put back without ceremony, which is why sticks like this end up in taverns.
