It gets the job done really well! It's a good size and well-built. It is a little hard to get the pivot point to pivot at first, however it's good in the end as it keeps the lamp stable. The only reason I deducted a star from this review is that the lamp came with a few chips in the metal/paint. They're pretty minor so I don't mind, however, others may. Overall, I would say this lamp is a great deal.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 18 2026

The sculptural base and dome shade make it feel much more expensive and designer-looking than I expected. This lamp arrived quickly and with no damage or missing parts. It looks great and I love the dimmer control. I also love that you can angle the shade/light to your desired spot. It's great for reading! As much as this lamp looks great and I love it, I did have 2 issues. 1 - The shade!!! It is so hard to put together! It took me a long time, and I had to keep checking the Wayfair ad's user photos to see how others did it. The instructions on how to build the shade were not very detailed. They were missing key steps. 2 - On the base, there is a nice triangular gold detail, but it moves! So, when I was screwing the lamp to the base, it kept sliding around and now it's all scratched in a circle. (See photo). Such a shame.. Lindsay. New Hamburg, ON. Thu Aug 13 2026
