This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. The desk arrived late and the electric parts didn’t work. The customer service agent talked in circles trying to insist on my accepting replacement parts with no partial refund. Kept talking around it when I asked about returning and refund. Then said I’d have to disassemble the desk to return it. Ummm no. I’m not giving giving my free labor for something that arrived late and dysfunctional. After about an hour of the run around they finally agreed to send the parts and give a partial refund for all the trouble. They could’ve just offered that to begin with. I’m now waiting for the parts. The desk itself looks great. Feels solid. Was a reasonable cost. If the replacement parts actually work, it will be a great desk. I purchased this desk a second time. I believe my first purchase was around 2023 Had a long distance move where I tossed the desk and decided to just re-buy it because the original fit my needs.  Not a fan of the notch at the back of the desk for wires, I much preferred the original that had the wire holes on the desk itself. Additional downgrades of note  The original purchase had metal brackets that bound the leaf sections to the middle structure. These feel cheap. It gets the job done, but we shall see about longevity. The control mechanism is also of a cheap plastic feeling. The original had much more of a premium feel. The motor also feels weaker for using the standing functionality. Luckily, I dont use the standing function much. All in all, solid desk for the price, corners were recently cut on quality within 3 years of an original purchase.
