First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. I will call today to troubleshoot shoot to see if it is an easy fix? All that being said I am keeping the fireplace, it looks beautiful in my living-room and it was a lot of hard work to put together. I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. It has a very nice glow and I can’t wait to turn it on during the winter and create some nice ambience in the house.
