We bought this for our primary bathroom renovation, which unfortunately is on the smaller side of primary bathrooms. We wanted our shower and tub to be installed on the same wall and had limited space, so at the top of our wish list was a smaller tub that was still comfortable (for our growing family our occasional baths as 5’4 and 5’10 adults. After deciding that a freestanding tub wasnt for us (going for a mid-century look), we decided to go with this one based one reviews (ease of installation and comfortable). Aside from the our delivery window being inaccurate at purchase, it was finally delivered and I was SO surprised by how lightweight it was.. Natalie. Evergreen, CO. Thu Apr 03 2025

Important Installation Notice: This protruding niche requires a pre-framed wall cavity and cannot be installed directly over finished walls. The listed 60×32"tub surround dimensions do NOT include the niche’s required 3-1/8" depth behind the tub wall. Ensure your wall opening matches the niche’s exact dimensions (55-3/8" W × 11-3/4" H × 3-1/8" D) before installation. If your tub surround can’t accommodate the required space, opt for the alternate model without a built-in niche. Search for model WDBR2587 or WDBR2701 for more details. The alcove tub surround (SKU WDBR2576) is perfectly compatible

The Above Floor Rough-In tub will allow for extra space under the tub to move drain plumbing to the appropriate location to match the tub outlet. This application is excellent for remodeling where the old drain is in a slab floor, or where floor joists would need to be cut to move the drain. Please see the specification sheet for more details and specifications on the tub. The pSPACE skirted acrylic tub from valley acrylic is attractive, durable, functional, and easy to install in under a day. Valley Acrylic tubs are built using a proprietary layering technology to reinforce and insulate the tubs far better than other tubs available today. The process starts with a heavy acrylic sheet with a resin and fiberglass mixture backing then a thick layer of real Canadian wood is applied to the tub which is then coated with another layer of the proprietary resin. This gives the tub better heat retention and insulation than another acrylic, gel coat, or steel tub products on the market while giving unparalleled strength and rigidity. The proprietary layered technology insulates the tub rather than absorbing heat from the water like cast iron which saves energy and water by retaining more heat and making the addition of hot water less frequently to maintain a warm bath. The width is perfect for small baths where a tub is desired and is an excellent replacement for existing tubs for remodeling purposes. In many cases, the smaller size allows for replacing an existing shower stall with a full tub to convert your bathroom to a full bath. The heavy acrylic layer provides a high gloss surface that is scratch, fade, and crack resistant providing a clean and attractive appearance through the entire long life of the tub. The vibrant surface of the acrylic tubs cleans up easily with mild soap and water, no scrubbing or harsh chemical cleaners required. The one-piece molded skirt has a smooth panel for a clean, smooth and simple tub design. This easy-to-clean nonporous acrylic surface resists the growth of mold, mildew, and mineral deposits providing a safe and hygienic bathing fixture for your family. The pSPACE tub provides a generous rectangular tub opening and an integral tile flange for a leak-free installation. Valley acrylic, a woman-owned business, creates handmade products that are eco-friendly and manufactured in a Certified Zero Waste factory in Mission, BC, Canada.
