This is a lovely cloud modular sectional. The cushions are firm foam, but are comfortable. The fabric is nice and soft and the covers are washable. My only wish is that there were some built-in connector to keep the modules together, like the metal brackets some sectional sofas have. Assembly was easy enough, unpacking the parts from the box was the most difficult part. They were packed in so tight that I was at one time afraid I’d break something. I purchased this sofa because my disabled mother will be visiting and cannot climb stairs. Unfortunately, despite being advertised as a sofa bed, it does not convert into a bed, which was disappointing and the main reason for my purchase. That said, I do like the sofa itself. Assembly was straightforward, it feels sturdy, and the corduroy fabric is soft and attractive. I also appreciate that the cushion covers unzip for easy washing. I did try sleeping on it, but the armrests are very hard, making it less comfortable for overnight use. Because it doesn't function as a sofa bed as described and isn't ideal for sleeping, I'm giving it 4 stars.
