Well this piece I think was package pretty well FedEx couldnt damage it which is good thing. My opinion the overall quality of the material used was not of the best that could have been used probably in my opinion but the veneer on it is very thin. Not a fan of the camlock system thats used to hold it together it just leaves unsightly the locks and everything inside the drugs and stuff its just to me it doesnt look very good but overall if its someone needs something its not a bad piece to have.. I’m pleased with the overall appearance. The cabinet looks as described. Assembly was simple. I am 72 yr old female with arthritis and it took me about 3 hrs to complete. Full disclosure, I used an it is pressed wood so don’t overload it but it works great for my purposes. electric screwdriver or I’d still be working on it with the small screwdriver that was sent with the hardware. Really happy with this dresser. Not gonna lie, putting it together took a while, but it wasn't difficult, just time-consuming. Once everything was assembled, it looked really nice. Overall we really like the dresser - we have a smaller room and wanted something a bit more narrow to fit our area. We love the style and feel it will hold up well. Pros: this is definitely not a solid wood dresser (which is how it’s advertised of course), but it feels sturdy enough. On furniture that tends to be cheaper, I always worry about misaligned drawers, but these all look great and lined up well. Cons: though easy to put together, the assembly process was time consuming. The drawers appear to be nice and deep, but they are more shallow than expected (the front of the drawer is much larger than the actual drawer itself). There is an irreparable blemish on a small part of the laminate that appears to be either damage in shipping or a manufacturer issue. There are some color inconsistencies on the front of the dresser in perfectly straight lines - it appears the tape/strapping material led to a slight discoloration. Overall if I was expecting perfection we would have spent a bit more money, but the quality for the price is good. Its a great dresser for a spare room, or maybe a nursery! Im really pleased with the final product! It looks great (drawers are all aligned, and open close nicely)! It feels sturdy and solid. The assembly was time consuming and tedious, but overall pretty straight forward! As you can see in one of the photos, theres a LOT of pieces to put together! It was packaged well everything was labeled nicely. The instructions were easy to follow. I put it together by myself (60 yr old woman) with no problems, though Ive assembled a lot of furniture, which probably helped! I have reached out to Wayfair and they forwarded my return request to the manufacturer. Personally I think it was damaged in transit but there were chips in the paint on most of the drawers so maybe not. I would have just touched it up with some paint but then while unpacking it I noticed huge damage to one of the side drawers that would make it impossible to assemble. Much of the Styrofoam packaging was crumbled and getting all over the place which made it all the more infuriating as I had spent an hour slowly unpacking and wiping down the pieces.
