kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Create a sophisticated bathroom space with unparalleled ease and speed. Utile by MAAX is an innovative shower walls solution, available in a range of rich colors, deep textures, and stylish patterns that look and feel like tile. Why is Utile superior to tile? Starting with purchase and installation: with tile, several other materials are required, and a professional must complete the 3-day installation. Alternatively, Utile walls do not require the purchase of other materials except silicone, and a few tools if not already in hand. They are fixed directly on the studs in 1 day and do not require hiring an expert! As for the long run, tile is a sturdy material; however, grout requires regular care and maintenance to keep its look and integrity long term. Utile walls, on the other hand, offer smooth textures or have realistic and carefree faux grout lines that will not crack!

This is a great shower. One thing - please note that the interior length is around 46.5", *not* 45.5" as shown above. After prep, the installation took just an hour or so. The individual pieces are light enough to be carried by one guy, so it was easy to unload and handle. Very much recommended.. Mdci. Maury County, TN. Thu Apr 30 2026

What's Included: 1 x Back Wall Panel (60" W) 2 x Side Wall Panels (32" D or 36" D) 2 x Aluminum Corner Trim Strips 2 x Aluminum Edge Trim Strips

The shower walls look great! The only thing I don’t like is the corner strips. I wasn’t home when my installer put them in. He said it was very difficult to put them in and it would have been easier to just put a bead of silicone, but he put them in because they came with the kit. I wish he hadn’t put the corner strips in. They make strips make it look more like they are acrylic walls. It would have looked better without them. Also I can’t fit a corner shelf in because of them. Delivery was also an issue. The walls were over a week late which delayed the project. But overall I am happy with the walls. I would just not recommend using the corner strips.. Desiree. Pitt Meadows, BC. Wed Feb 04 2026

It has a full-length door-to-wall pivot door mechanism, with premium quality hardware in a brushed gold finish, and includes a 29 in. wide door panel, a 14 in. wide inline panel and a 48 in. x 36 in. x 2 3/4 in. shower base, ideal for an alcove installation. All glass door panels are made from premium 8mm (5/16”) thick certified tempered glass and feature high quality magnetic door strips and engineered hardware that ensure smooth opening and closing and no leaks. The reversible shower pan has a subtle covered side drain design, is made of premium fiberglass-reinforced acrylic and has a slip-minimizing textured surface and easy-to-clean construction.

The shower door, aesthetically, looks great and gives the bath room a modern look. However, there are two areas of concern. The door seals at the bottom leak in two locations, whereby water spills onto the floor. I have to wipe the water off the floor after each shower. Also, the magnet which is supposed to be a tight fit when closing the door is not tight enough. The door opens and closes without a tight fit. I'm not sure if it is because of the weight of the door. These two areas of concern possibly need to be redesigned.. Jerry G. Sun Aug 23 2026
