I love this vintage kitchen chair! The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is because the seat cushion is thicker than the same chairs purchased a few years ago. It is 2-1/2” thick compared to 1”. Nicely made chairs to replace our midcentury set of chairs that has served us well. These new chairs are the exact dimensions of out old chairs, which is great. Seem very sturdy, like the finish on the wood. Seat size is generous. We built them on the floor, which was a bit unwieldy, probably better to do on a work table. Did not have any issues with misaligned holes, but you really have to make sure you have all the parts lined up properly, definitely need two people to put together. We picked the brown color and it looks great in person. The chair is stylish, comfortable, and feels well made for the price. My only complaint is that the oversized plastic glides on the base are quite bulky and raise the frame off the floor more than expected. As a result, the seat feels slightly reclined/backward compared to what I’d expect from this style of chair - might consider removing.
