These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. this is not my first charbroil grill. I have used Charbroil on and off for about 30 years. last large grill was a weber, lasted many years. Having recently built an outdoor kitchen was looking for a quality grill to be built in.
