This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress. It came in a box and we out it in the bed and cut the plastic and right away it flipped open so fast and hard and it opened up and flattened. It is comfortable but not that firm tho.
