I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. The feel is soft and drapy unlike my other linen which are bouncy. I expected that this item would include the certification attesting that it is 100 percent linen but it does not even have a logo. So, I am writing this review while these are still fairly new, so I will have to update after we’ve had it awhile to comment on durability. But, first impressions are great! The material is soft, comfy, and the color is beautiful. It is a gorgeous green color. It’s the type of light sage that almost leans mint (although I would definitely call it sage and not mint), but it could probably compliment a variety of palettes. I washed it according to the care instructions before using it, and it came out just fine. We got a queen size set, and I was able to fit a king-size comforter in it for a plush, cozy feel. We already got some dirt on it from an overzealous dog’s paws, but some stain remover (I use biokleen enzyme stain and odor remover) did the trick and it seemed to wash out well. This seems promising and hopefully the material won’t hold on to stains. I will update after more use to comment on durability and how it maintains its color and feel.
