The Forte fireplace has three color options (orange, blue, and blue-orange), along with five brightness settings, from a soft ember glow or an intense blaze, so you have the ability to adjust the flame color and intensity based on your desired mood or lighting of the room. Just press the appropriate button on the fireplace's included remote control, and you have instant fireplace ambiance. Push another button to control the Forte's heater, which features two settings (high and low heat) and a thermostat, to quickly add supplemental heat to a room of up to 400 square feet. While the heater isn’t designed to be the primary heat source in your room or home, it will warm up a cool evening, or bring the temperature of a room up a few degrees.

We’re very satisfied with this electric fireplace. It was not difficult to hang on the wall. It kept our bedroom warmer overnight on low setting. It is easy to operate – very clear remote control. We like the fact that it has a lower setting such that we don’t overload our electric panel. While the flame doesn’t appear “real“ per se it is still life-like and attractive to look at. I ordered this 68 inch wide fireplace and it is striking. It was well packaged and arrived in great shape. The large scale, black mirror-like glass finish, and linear design will really complement the modern living room remodel I am doing. When I ordered it, I was a little concerned about how noticeable the control buttons on the front would be but I think they are clean and unobtrusive as they are recessed a bit.
