We like the look of this table on our deck. The 54” added 6” to our previous seating capacity which we wanted without having to change the existing rug. The 4 rating is due to an obvious seam where the top halves meet; something I was wary of prior to buying. It took 45 minutes for my husband and me to put it together. It was not easy, so if you are not good with tools and many screws, washers, nuts and bolts, you may want to get a table from a big box store or super expensive table from a patio store.. Jean. Our solid teak patio series is built to last. All joints are mortise-toned at all joints and dowelled for strength. This teak is Lacy Act compliant and sustainably harvested on teak farms with consistently replanting the plantation. Teak is a very durable wood and to demonstrate its durability US Navy uses teak for the decks of our aircraft carriers. They can be oiled with teak oil and then wiped dry to prevent them from becoming sticky.

This table top is beautiful! I had an existing base from my old tile top table so I was able to attach this table top to the existing base. It arrived extremely well packaged with no damage what so ever. The finish on it seems to be a stain or a protection clear coat…I’m not sure. I purchased a teak protector to keep it from turning grey but I’m not sure if I actually need to use it or not?? I would definitely purchase another one if I needed to buy another teak table top!! Overall very pretty and sturdy. I am grateful I hired the delivery people to put it together. The cement top is very heavy. I had a concern with one top bolt not same amount tightened but all seems to be secure. I like that there is a cover for the umbrella opening. And perhaps it’s my uneven patio causing the issue. The only other item that was different is the color of the top is a lot darker than what was shown in the pictures. Very dark gray. It works but preference was the lighter gray as shown. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the pegs on the bottom of the legs though (they are very rounded so there is nothing to grab onto to turn them). This table is on the tall side too. But the dimensions were in the description. Just noting that for others to check the height of your chairs maybe before you decide. It was easy to assemble, the teak top is smooth (we will add a layer of teak oil since it is outside) and the legs are metal (something I did not appreciate when I ordered, but am happy with all the same). I like this table a lot but it’s not perfect. We are keeping it. PROS umbrella hole. Nice size- can easily fit 6 people around it., glass top is really nice. CONS side panels don’t come all the way up so you see through the leg area. Side panel is actually shorter amount of “wicker” than shows in the photo.Not sure how durable it will be. Lightweight to move into the shade or sun and really pretty! Grey wood color looks great. I think we can squeeze 8 chairs but fits 6 well.
