I was able to assembly the shed by myself. I kept the vertical beams from falling over by using tape (string would have worked, too) to nearby anchor points, such as a shelf unit or a stepladder. The instructions have no words, but the line drawings are good. Step 1 line drawing shows holes for 4 screws but the product had only 2. Step 2. the holes don't line up exactly. I used a bolt in the largest hole as a temporary alignment aid. Step 3. Perhaps it should be said that the doors go on the end with part #1. If you are assembling the shed in a small area, it it important to face the door in the right direction. I assembled it in a space that was about 6 feet wide. I had to push the shed back and forth to work on one side, then the other. Step 4. When putting side panels on, the bottom screw goes into the bottom frame. It's the most difficult one. To hold the panel while I worked on it, I put a temporary screw in one upper corner, then did the screws on the other end, starting at the bottom. Step 5. Part number 5. The bottom end is the one with a notch. After doing step 8, you could also do step 13 and step 18; that would hold the door frame better. Step 11. I put 9L on the right, 9R on the left. I think it depends on which way you want the roof to slope. Steps 14 and 15. These are the pieces with the sharpest edges. Reverse the directions on step 15 if you want the roof to slope the other way. I had to drill 2 holes for this step. For a product with hundreds of holes, most of the alignments were good. But I had to drill a hole in part 7 (frame above doors) at each end. The directions do not show any screws into the bottom of parts 12R and 12L, but you need 10 or so to connect these panels to the top of the shed. Holes are provided, but the instructions omitted that step. Step 16, the roof panels. Do the center hole first, because you can't exert much pressure on it. You will need to push the panels a bit. If they flatten, then the holes spread apart. Do the top side next, because if you are on a short ladder (like I was) it's more difficult. If the shed isn't exactly square, then the holes won't line up well. I did it in about 2 half-days. There were lots of F1 screws and plastic washers left over.. Michael. La Verne, CA. It came in 3 boxes that are able to fit into a larger SUV for transport. The materials are attractive colors and true to the photo. It’s really nice there is a window for natural light and venting. That is a big one for me and why I chose this model. The double doors are ample in width. Plan 4 days for assembly mostly alone. 1 day to build a base. 1 day for preassembly of walls (4 hours). 2 days for final assembly. There are no predrilled holes, which is necessary with this type of soft material. Some of the panels don’t exactly line up in preassembly, but the millimeters don’t matter. The instructions are alright. Not great but doable. The part numbers are crazy long and confusing and could be labeled much better. You really need a tape measure with centimeters. I didn’t so I had to convert everything and mark my tape. I did drop a light item on a panel and it easily dented. Think of this material as the blue tote bins you’d buy and not as strong as the black and yellow tote bin plastic at major retailers. A base has to be built. Budget almost half the price of this shed for your base if you use pressure treated wood. This will NOT work without a sturdy base being prebuilt (pavers or wood). You will need a level, metal drill bit, good power screw driver, speed square is helpful, tape measure in centimeters, magnifying glass if you cannot see well up close to see instruction detail, patience and beverages. I am a little concerned about snow load, but we will see how it fares in winter. It’s more flimsy than other sheds, but the price does reflect that, so it’ll work for me.. Megan. Meridian, ID. This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. After reading several reviews I was a little leary about purchasing the storage shed but the price was right so I took a chance. Over all I found it to be a nice shed for the money. Not the easiest to put together because the instructions weren't the easiest to follow but I'm pretty handy and got it together in a day. The tin is very sharp so handle with care. The parts came packed fairly well and there was no damage or dents to the metal pieces. Among the complaints in the reviews that I read were that there were not enough screws to complete the job but that wasn't my problem. I had several screws left over. But if I do have a complaint it is that the screws are so small I had a problem putting the little nuts on the little screws. Another problem is the illustrations are so small sometimes it's not clear what you are to do. There is no text instructions, just illustrations. Wayfair was great to deal with; gave me a great price, had great communications and got the package to me very quickly. I recommend this shed and Wayfair for the reasons I've listed. But again. be very careful handling the metal pieces as they are very sharp. In fact they include a pair of mittens to use when handling the metal. But you can't work with the mittens on.. Anonymous.
