This product is a wireless door chime push button. This button can transmit up to 125 feet from the pushbutton to the chime. It is offered in an off-white finish and is designed to be surface mounted. The surface mount means no holes are required to install.

So the picture of this shows a dark, tarnish-colored product. I was surprised when I received it in the mail to discover it was actually a bright, polished silver color. The finish is matte, so it's not reflective metal or anything, but definitely is polished silver in color. It also has an orange light around the button itself which I don't think was disclosed in the description. Overall, I like the way it looks, but definitely wasn't the product I thought I was buying. The corinthian design chime cover camouflages the doorbell chime, so it will look like a piece of artwork. The cover is made out of wood, so it will last longer than a plastic chime cover and will not turn yellow over time. It may also be painted another color.
