The modern vanity light cover hides your dated "Hollywood" light bar, to instantly refresh your bathroom to create a stunning modern designer look. The high-quality textured white fabric shade softens the harsh glare from exposed bare light bulbs. Our premium linen fabric will remain durable in steamy bathrooms and keep its shape, unlike less-expensive fabrics. Our heavy gauge wall brackets don't rely on glue or hook & loop fastener so your shade will not sag or shift over time. The best feature is the easy DIY installation which means no electrician or re-wiring is needed. This conversion kit comes with clear instructions, 1 fabric shade, 2 wall brackets, 2 anchors, and 2 screws for quick DIY installation. Renters love the light cover kit because it wraps in front of your existing light, to hide your landlord's dated bathroom light bar quickly and can be removed when moving out.

The light is thin and the springs on the side seem heavy duty. The junction box itself is metal not plastic like some others. They state they are insulation safe which is for a remodeling. With a raised border and textured white surface, this medallion offers understated style that goes well with any decor. The simple installation of this medallion is a great way to hide a hole if an opening in the ceiling is cut too large. It can also hide ceiling blemishes and cracks that may appear around ceiling fans and lighting fixtures. It is made of durable molded plastic.

It ended up working for us ok, but it was not as expected. The description said the sizes was a range up to 19”, but gave the orderer no place to choose a size so we were not sure exactly what would show up when it got here. What we got was a 15 3/4” medallion. It just barely fit, but we made it work after doing a bit of wall boarding.. Judith. Derry, NH. Mon Mar 09 2026

We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab.
