I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. My driveway has now gone through two winters and the sealant is still somewhat effective, but I think I will need to coat it again this fall.. Bryan. Halifax, NS. Fri Mar 27 2026

I ordered this by accident and thought I canceled only because I didn’t realize how big it was. It has sat a few months as I was unable to return it. Well we opened it and realized that because of how you set this up, we were able to put just half of it together and even that size is enormous. We still need to figure out the covering since we only made half of it but this is wha it looks like before the covering. The garage, or rather the roof - looks close to photo, protecting the top of mower, but leaving side gaps at the bottom. I would wish the gap is smaller, so the roof protects more from the sides as well. The roof material is thin, but it's metal which is good.
