The Armor SX5000 WB is a PRO-Grade water-based penetrating water-repellent sealer. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. The Armor SX5000 WB is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface, won’t change the look or color of the substrate, and won’t leave a surface film. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. This fan works very well for our space. It functions as described with the remote provided (no AAA batteries included!) The light is adequate in brightness and the overall appearance of the fan is modern and the three blade adds a minimalistic element. It does not push tons of air down, so if your installation allows for use of the long extension so it sits lower, then you may want to do that; wish we had done. We are experienced amateur fan installers (probably 20 over the years) and we installed 2 others just last month, but this one was a bit tricky (totally do-able for those who have experience, but may be frustrating for others.) Notice in the third photo that the holes do not line up and therefore some manual adjustments had to be made. It was also a bit confusing the way (photo 4) the housing is all one piece, but the instructions (step 11) illustrate them separately. It was a true challenge to get this installed with the rubber fully flush on the surface. We had to buy longer screws that those provided, which would not catch, let alone hold. Once installed, the fan is really attractive and works as advertised. It is fully plastic, but that makes sense for outdoors, especially here in H.O.T. Texas. We are considering purchasing another one for the other side because even though we received the product through a promotion, we believe that at the current price, it holds sufficient value. No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Bought AX-25 to reseal my pool deck and lanai. This stamped concrete deck has to be resealed every 2-3 years. Used tint from another company (very good stuff). However, I decide to give Foundation Armor a try for sealing. I am very pleased and find this to give a better appearance than the sealant I used before from the tint provider.
