It will darken the surface and enhance any dull and faded coloring, and protect the surface with a durable high gloss surface film. The Armor AX25 is a fantastic sealer if you are looking to bring out dull and faded surfaces, enhance surfaces with a high gloss wet look finish, and provide superior water repellency benefits to the surface. The Armor AX25 also doubles as a cure and seal and can be applied to new concrete. The Armor AX25 is made from high quality, non-recycled, US manufactured resins. It is non-yellowing, breathable, and low VOC. The protective high gloss film will reduce damage and deterioration caused by surface abrasion and water absorption including cracking, spalling, pitting, dusting, and the growth of mold, mildew, and algae.

I applied the Foundation Armor AX25 to my concrete driveway this fall, and the final result is outstanding. For prep, I made sure to thoroughly degrease the entire surface first. I applied two coats using a 3/8" solvent-resistant nap roller, and it laid down perfectly with absolutely no lap marks—which is usually my biggest concern with rolled clear coats. Coverage was right on the money. It took about four gallons to get two solid coats down on a double driveway plus a 20x3 foot walkway. I rolled it out on a day when it hit 20°C (68°F), dropping down to about 7°C (45°F) overnight, and it cured beautifully without any issues. I also mixed in SharkGrip for traction. Slip-resistant additives can sometimes dull a clear coat or cause it to streak, but the AX25 maintained a brilliant, high-gloss wet look even with the aggregate mixed in. It looks amazing and cured to a hard, professional-grade finish. Highly recommended.. Jeff. Calgary, AB. Tue Oct 06 2026
