I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Shouldn't be an issue at all because you can also choose HOT in the menu button. Looks lovely on my counter and next to the Bodum grinder that I also purchased years ago from Wayfair. Folks, is a fantastic kettle! Solid enamel, sturdy handle and whistle, and the gradient Sea Salt finish is flawless. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! My first kettle is 20 years old and I only bought a new one because I changed my kitchen color scheme. Over the years that kettle heated water on gas, electric, and wood stoves with never a problem . To change from steam to hot water and vice versa the user can press the central button. The display will light up the dedicated icon once the thermoblock is at the set temperature. To deliver steam or hot water you can rotate the knob counterclockwise. To enter the settings menu press the steam/hot water selector for 5 seconds.
