I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This modern fan coolsl down a medium-sized room quickly. Packaged beautifully and secure. Installation was pretty straightforward from the instruction manual. There were two areas of the manual stickered with updated instructions. The remote connection took two tries. The fan is heavy and definitely get a helper installing if you can. As far as the remote, it magnetically connects to a wire-free outlet you can attach to the wall or you can just remove the remote and use as is, which is what I am doing. This fan is a little oversized for my room and I probably should have paid more attention. The airflow is phenomenal. Absolutely love the strong airflow. The light is LED but even on its brightest is isnt as bright as I was hoping it would be. Maybe the diffused glass cover is dimming it a little but it seems mire daylight vs bright white. The one thing that I do not like about this fan is the blades picked up spots from finger oils. Fan looks beautiful and I did a lot of research on a high-quality fan before settling on this one. Unfortunately, despite this brand being known for their quality the motor was defective, as determined by two different electricians (I found it hard to believe it was a new fan and assumed it was the wiring). Wayfair also only gave me the options of a 25% discount if I kept a defective fan that doesn't work or giving me money back and me being out the cost of the electrician to take the old fan down and install a new one so either way I got screwed over by this purchase.
