Featuring four turtles swimming together, this lovely accent is sure to help your beach-chic style come out of its shell. The four cute turtles showcase a brown and green finish that builds on their nautical charm, while the maze-like pattern on the turtle shells adds authentic artful appeal. Whether you live by the beach or more inland, these lovely swimmers are sure to grab glances in any space. Try hanging this piece of art above a whitewashed console table in your entryway, so when you have guests over for a beach weekend vacation they are greeted with charming style. If you want to build on the seaside style, try topping the console with a small bouquet of blue hydrangeas, a sea glass table lamp, and a glass bowl filled with seashells for a cohesive beach vignette.

It’s really cute but on the thin side and very light weight, maybe 1lb. When i hold it, reminds me of thinn aluminum can material. The entire shipping box with turtle wall decor inside was about 3lbs. It comes with one screw to hang it. It’s painted like it’s been on a mass assembly line… done cheaply. I tried hanging it in my bathroom but it just looked to cheap and I don’t have an expensive looking bathroom. So I put it in my garden. Meh…. Dustin. Laguna Beach, CA. Mon May 24 2021

This dramatic piece of art is inspired by Ridley sea turtles coming together to nest. See the turtles swimming towards the beach through the shallow waters represented by the strong aqua-based colors and you can almost see the sunlight reflecting off their right side where the color is stark white. The artist recreates the organic body structure of sea turtles by using capiz shells to create the spotted characteristics covering the limbs and head. The basic frame of the turtle is created using tin, which is powder-coated with a black finish. The frame is reinforced using tin wire along the inner edge. Capiz is an oyster shell and the primary purpose of the oyster is as a source of food. However, the by-product, the shell, can be used for decoration. Due to it being a natural material, the natural colors of the capiz come through as tans and browns underneath the paint. The shell is then painted in the bold colors you see. The entire front-facing piece is carefully hand-painted keeping in mind the reflective qualities of the color of turtles.
