I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Bought AX-25 to reseal my pool deck and lanai. This stamped concrete deck has to be resealed every 2-3 years. Used tint from another company (very good stuff). However, I decide to give Foundation Armor a try for sealing. I am very pleased and find this to give a better appearance than the sealant I used before from the tint provider. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. I’m converting from an upright to a canister vacuum, so I’ve had to change my technique in how I vacuum the house. Instead of starting at one end of the room and then stepping backward to make the next path as I’ve always done with an upright, that way just doesn’t work for a few reasons, but to keep this brief, instead I now pick a section of the room to start (my rooms are small to average in size at only 1100 sq feet total), so it’s usually towards the center of the room where I position the canister vacuum and begin a starburst pattern. I keep the canister vacuum relatively in the same spot, until I am ready to begin in another section. This way there is less moving of the canister vacuum. Now the hose and handle are quite long when combined on the Kenmore canister vacuum, not to mention sturdy, so I only reposition 2 or 3 times in my smaller-size rooms, and I’m done in that room. Pros are, it gets under furniture much easier than an upright, hands down, and it is quieter. A bonus of this machine is you can control the suction, and therefore that is done with changing the speed of the motor, so if you can do light cleaning at a lower suction and not feel like your waking the entire house., The noise level drops dramatically. For me, this alone seals the deal on this cleaning machine. I also liked that all the tools are stored on the body of the vacuum and covered, so they’re not getting knocked off, and I’m not having to constantly run to the closet to dig through a bag of parts looking for the right attachment. All full size vacuums should follow Kenmore ways of thinking and designing vacuum cleaners in my opinion. Even though I found my work around in my style of vacuuming, it is a bit more difficult to carry around, a bit bulky, but I am not at all regretting my purchase of a canister vac, and I highly recommend the option pop and go bagged canister vacuum by Kenmore. I think it does just as good, if not better, of a job than vacuums two or three times higher in price. It’s built sturdy, which makes it a little heavier, but I expect it to last for many, many years. I suggest you give this vacuum a test yourself and see if you agree. Oh I almost forgot, one last thing I think you should know, it seems to pick up dog hair on hard surfaces better than upright models that I’ve vacuumed with in the past.. Thomas. Palm Springs, CA. Create an environmentally friendly and cost-effective composting system with Greenes Fence Composting Bins. Made from North American cedar, these bins allow you to turn household waste into natural fertilizer for your lawn, garden, and flower beds. Simply layer "greens" (such as vegetable and fruit peelings, coffee grounds, tea bags, and grass clippings) and "browns" (such as eggshells, cardboard, corncobs, and cotton towels), then allow the materials to begin composting. The bins’ open design makes it easy to turn the pile every two to three weeks using a shovel or pitchfork, aerating the compost and speeding up the breakdown process. Depending on your climate and the mix of materials, your compost will be ready to use in 3 to 12 months. For a continuous supply of compost, consider creating a multi-bin system with our add-on kits. It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The plastic material that was provided to creates this compost container is very flimsy and weak. When putting together the container the clips that was provided to hold the unit together was a great struggle to apply, you have to use great strength to push them down in place. Once this container is all put together, this container busted at the bottom where the door that slipped up and down, because it was to weak to hold the material inside. I love my little Henry vacuum! It's like cleaning with Thomas and Friends and does a great job. I actually had to retrain myself how to vacuum because it only takes a light touch compared to the force I had to put behind my upright vacuum (which was considered lightweight at the time I bought it 5 years ago). The bags last for several cleanings and the tools are all very easy to use. The fact that it has a happy face makes cleaning a bit less of a chore, too! :) I recommend this vacuum, as I have noticed a significant decline in allergies when I use it. With my old upright bagless vac, I would cough and sneeze for a solid day after cleaning.
