I am a huge fan of iron art, and I love the phoenix. Not a normal yard art statue that you would find. Lots of egrets, herons, and peacocks. So when I saw this, I was absolutely thrilled. And when it arrived, even more so as the colors are absolutely brilliant. The pieces were very well packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to avoid damage in transit. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't appear to easy come apart. They even included a "U" shaped stake to help keep it in place. The color is candy-apple (metallic-semi translucent), and the details are three dimensional, not just painted on, which makes it even more special. I absolutely recommend this piece.. Kimberly. Wow, this was NOT easy to put together as a 5'3" female. The tools provided were brutal and painful to use with the torque needed to tighten these nuts and bolts. Thank God for my meticulous, perfectionist tenant who lives next door... Not only man man hands, height, nice tools and a level! Without him I'm unsure how this would have turned out. This thing is AWESOME- but I wouldn't suggest a woman do this souly on her own and I'm a gal who does tile, paint, concrete, landscaping, and dry wall without complaints. I love a DIY but this was a challenge all in itself. Buy some boiled linseed oil for this thing, I'm afraid if I don't this won't last but a couple of years.. Danielle. West Valley, UT.
