Pictures are ok, but they don't always give the complete advice. I had trouble with the cage portion - you use the smaller rods for the horizontal pieces, and the longer ones for the vertical. In the end, we were left with a mismatched number and could not build the top layer. That's ok - I can't imagine this going higher!
