These are the best wooden planters, made well, good looking, and sizes I’ve found. My others, one more expensive, have not held up as well. I’d add a star if they came with a waterproofed finish.. Gail. Ny, NY. Sun Jan 23 2022

Absolutely fantastic planter! I stained it and sealed it. It's gorgeous!!. Megan. South Miami, FL. Mon Mar 12 2018

You can order the lovely western red cedar octagon deck planter alone or with the plastic self-watering inner pot. If you have an inner pot that would fit, no need to order our inner pot.

This box is made of 100% screw construction (no nails or staples). Thick lumber is used with additional supports where it matters.

When we received the planter boxes we were delighted with how they looked. We haave had planter boxes by the steps of our back door for almost 20 years and every few years we need to replace the boxes. In the past the boxes were redwood without any lattice or decorative trim and we never had any comments on how they looked but this year we have had numerous comments on just how beautiful they look. Thank you for having such nice looking planter boxes!. Garry. Layton, UT. Wed Aug 19 2020

Create a coordinated plant display with this set of two compact tapered square planters. Each planter is made from a lightweight composite material with a stone-inspired finish, giving it a substantial decorative appearance while remaining easy to lift and reposition. A removable watering tray sits inside each planter to create a reservoir beneath the soil. This helps keep moisture available to plant roots and can reduce how often the planters need to be watered. The elevated tray also keeps the full planter from needing to be filled entirely with soil. Weather- and UV-resistant construction makes the set suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The clean tapered shape works well beside entrances, on patios, balconies, porches, decks, or as a coordinated indoor plant display. Each planter measures approximately 10" wide x 13" high.

I used these for my artificial boxwood plants that I also ordered! I used the water reservoir trays to save on fillers to add height! They look awesome!!!. Suzette. Henrico, VA. Thu Jul 30 2026
