I did put some silicone bumpers on the bottom as the can slid on my tile floor, this solved that problem. The trash can has to sit a little bit out from the wall or counter in order to open completely. The order arrived two days later than the original prediction. Hard to mess up a 5-gallon bucket I suppose. I was glad to get a dark color for under my new farmhouse sink where a standard kitchen trash can no longer fits.
