The packaging was great. However, the items had many scratches and chippings. The wood or the engineered wood is pretty cheap and I wish they had used better material. It really not a bad product but it has a film on top of the wood. Its a way keeping the consistent look of the product. I removed the film to show a closer look at the wood underneath and show a side by side comparison. We ordered light grey but were sent dark grey. It’s has a brownish hue more than a grey. Good if you want something natural looking for but you may be disappointed if you wanted a dark grey like a charcoal. They fit above our baseboard with little extending over which is nice. However, 6 inches is not the exact width of the panels. They have a slit to help them connect like shiplap. So, they end up being 5.625in. This was a big deal because we did the math accordingly and ran out of panels which we would’ve have the exact # correct of if it was accurate. Keep that in mind for your purchase.. Edward. Kiln dried to ensure bug-free and milled to 0.38" thickness containing random widths of 3", 4", and 5" in and lengths from 12", and 48". Wire brushed and ready to install. Manufactured from real reclaimed wood. Hand-selected and processed with care. This plank will be the focal point of any room. We love it! We spent 30 mins sorting each box in to 9 piles. then it took us about 10 hours to complete the wall (the longest was the first 3 or 4 rows as we cut around the vent and socket but then it was easy. You do have to swap out pieces and try a few to get the best fit each time. My husband and i are novice at doing this and so long as you take your time, you can do it. The instructions were good....mark out your stud lines first and also use a nail gun. We didn't paint the wall behind black, but each time we put a piece of wood up we looked to see if we needed to do any paintning behind the joins or holes and then just dabbed the wall in those areas - however we did miss a few joins that we didn't see until we shone the light directly on it as we finished off as it was getting dark. When you buy a few boxes you should spend 30 mins sorting the wood near to your project in to 9 piles. The wood comes in 3 widths and 3 lengths eg we called them wide, medium and narrow. Each width also comes in 3 lengths, small, medium and long (hence 9 piles) so that as you are building as you go you can reach for a wide long piece and they are all together so you can try a few. I’m thrilled with how this turned out! Couldn’t find the right thing to hang over my bed. A horizontal mirror looked too boring.
