We have several posts on our porch that these skirts fit perfectly covering the bolts anchoring the post to concrete. They are lightweight but seem sturdy. The shiny black finish is nice, however, we chose to scuff sand and paint them to match the post. They've held up well through the winter. A great option to finish the look of the porch!. Maryann. These are well made but would not fit my post as we have the post wrap on them and 5 inch is to big, 4 inch is to small.. Debbie. IA. Sat Aug 15 2026

LOVE these gray 'galvanized look' plastic caps, but be aware that 4" caps are wiggly loose on LESS THAN 4" 'standard' wooden posts that are sold at most 'BIG BOX' Home Stores. No fault of the caps, but there is no standard of what 4 inches means when it comes to pre-cut lumber. It's more like 3 3/8". UPDATE, after a few years, these need to be spray painted again with a 'metallic' gray to refresh the look. Still love them, no problem.. Jen. Buffalo, NY. Sat Dec 20 2025

Hide the eye sores in your yard such as trash bins or air conditioners with this no-dig Charleston Wood Slat Privacy Screen. This slatted screen will hide the ugly items in your yard and make your lawn the envy of your neighborhood. Crafted from 100% FSC-certified cedar lumber and powder-coated aluminum, this screen looks the same from both sides. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our slatted design is not only aesthetically appealing but also provides for efficient airflow while around air conditioning units. Each kit comes with 2 sections to make a recommended right angle. Additional boxed sets can be purchased if you would like to create a bigger enclosure. Please note individual panels and parts are not for sale.
