This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. This dresser fits the bill for what we needed. I will admit that it took me the better part of two days to construct it. There are very few words in the instruction manual. It was a fun puzzle. There were 278 instances of screwing a connection. I did more than that because at a couple of points I had constructed parts of it incorrectly based upon the non-instructions so had to disassemble and re-assemble. Some parts of this cabinet are solid wood but most are composite wood which doesn’t do well with re-worked screw holes. A few broken off toothpicks and a little wood glue fixed these instances! The top suggestion that should have been in the instructions is: Do not over tighten screws in the composite board! It strips the screw holes and makes a wobbly connection. I learned it through experience pretty quickly, but spent an hour or so strengthening those connections after I had made this mistake. I know the instructions say construction of this chest should be by two adults, but that would never have worked with me and my husband. He has different gifts. This chest of drawers requires a love of puzzles, patience and the desire to learn new skills. I actually loved building it and the result is solid, fully functional and attractive.. Cheryl. This is a heavy SOLID piece, looks higher quality when assembled took me about 2.5 hours but I move slow. Assembly is not my favorite as I did it solo— it’s doable and you have to not rush and read the directions. I had worse assembly with Wayfair products. Shipment was fine but I needed a dolly to move into my garage due to the weight of the box. Opened it in the garage and move the individual pieces upstairs a few at a time. The drawers are smaller but meet my needs in a spare room. The review that have issues may not have completed all the steps and used all the screws. I’d buy this again if I needed a second one. I really did love this purchase although it was a little annoying!!! First, I would like to say that the instructions were a little bit confusing because I prefer detailed captions along with the illustrations so it took a while to assemble this dresser so be patient with yourself. I would recommend setting all of the pieces out and reading over the booklet before assembling, otherwise the quality is great. Exactly as pictured! I love the color, very natural. It’s a little more complicated than other dresser builds I’ve done, but nothing unmanageable. There are safety “locks” in the edge of each drawer track to make it safer and less likely to topple over. You can only have one drawer open at a time. I would recommend this dresser.. Anonymous.
